By surrounding the nation's armorial bearings with the provincial and territorial shields, the expanded scene on this collectible presents a more complete portrait of Canada, represented by its most prominent heraldic symbols. The 50-cent circulation coin is the most elusive of all the Canadian circulation coins and a collector favourite; on this 5oz coin, its reverse design has been creatively re-imagined as portion of a new, expanded story.
