Founded in 1896 as a branch to the British Royal Mint, Perth Mint today is one of the largest minting plants globally, owned by the Western Australian government. Manufacturer of the iconic ‘Kangaroo’ gold and silver investment coins, Perth Mint also produce a popular lunar series and a range of sought-after collector coins.
This silver bullion minted bar features a struck version of The Perth Mint’s LBMA registered mark on a table of radiating circles. Like the gold minted bars, the back features kangaroo-shaped motifs incused on the back. Included on the front is the inscription 9999 FINE SILVER, which incorporates a tiny ‘P’ mintmark within the last nine. This authentication feature is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the bar to be counterfeited – although we strongly recommend buyers only purchase from trusted sources.
This silver minted bar is presented without a capsule in protective acrylic tubes of 20 bars. Each tube is sealed with The Perth Mint’s tamper evident security seal. Orders of 10 tubes are housed in a white and blue monster box suitable for secure storage in third-party safe deposit boxes.
