1oz Armenian Silver Noah's Ark Coin

This 2022 1 oz Silver Armenia Noah's Ark BU coin displays a beautifully designed, biblical scene. The scene, of course, is that described in Genesis chapter 8, and is absolutely stunning!

The obverse displays a large image of the Republic of Armenia Coat of Arms, with inscriptions including the 1 oz weight, 999 purity, release year, and the denomination of 500 Dram. The rim-band includes the inscription "REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA" in English at the bottom, and in Armenian at the top.

The reverse prominently features the dove that was released from the ark after the rain stopped, and the sun returned. She returns bearing a fresh olive branch, proving that the floodwaters had begun to recede. The waves have calmed significantly, although they continue to wash against the ark. The water has receded to again show the peaks of Mt. Ararat in the distance. The very welcome sun is brightly rising above the peaks.

Every element in the design is masterfully detailed, utilizing different textures. The scene also has a sense of depth in how each element is positioned. The narrow rim band includes "NOAH'S ARK" in both English and Armenian.
